We are thrilled to unveil our partnership with Spectrik in developing an advanced ammonia mitigation system, backed by the Stimulus OPZuid project. This collaboration underscores our dedication to addressing the pressing nitrogen challenges prevalent in the Dutch agricultural sector.

Advanced Sensor Technology

The project incorporates high-tech technologies to reduce ammonia emissions, and sensors to monitor ammonia levels in real-time, ensuring efficient air purification is completed. This cutting-edge technology will play a pivotal role in safeguarding environmental and animal welfare. To monitor the ammonia levels in real-time at a stable level for an affordable price, VTEC is developing a photonic chip.

Innovative Photocatalytic Foil

Spectrik’s contribution to the project lies in the introduction of a pioneering photocatalytic foil technology. This innovative solution is activated by light and actively extracts ammonia from the air, demonstrating a promising approach to combating nitrogen-related issues.

Nitrogen Mitigation System Development

Innoflex is spearheading the development of a nitrogen mitigation system that leverages photocatalytic materials activated by light to decompose ammonia into harmless gases. This system boasts low energy consumption, eliminates the need for chemical inputs, and requires minimal maintenance, positioning it as a sustainable solution for the agricultural sector.

Funding Recognition

We are honored to receive co-financing from the OPZuid program (Development Program South Netherlands) and the European Union, underscoring the innovative potential of our project.
